                                                                                                   Habitat for Humanity build in Coatesville

Evangelism                                                                        

Reaching out to the greater Oxford Community, to share the love of Jesus Christ, and to be "Lights of Influence" for Christ in such a way that we welcome and encourage others to begin or continue their faith journey with the Oxford Presbyterian Church.

-"Welcome" table at both Sunday services with information for visitors

-Follow up calls and letters to visitors

-CD Recordings of Sunday worship for those not able to attend

Social Justice

Witnessing and working in areas of racial and ethnic concerns, hunger, community, women's issues, ecology, housing, justice and human rights.

-Community CROP Walk in October of the year annually raises over $20,000 to fight hunger through the Church World Services and right here in Oxford through the Neighborhood Services Center.

-Habitat for Humanity Builds

-Fair Trade coffee, tea, chocolate, and cocoa-Sale 1st Sunday of the month gives farmers in South America, Africa and Asia "fair trade" value for their harvest.

-Ten Thousand Villages Gift Shop during November and December raises money for impoverished artisans and their communities around the world.

-Alternative Gift Market-give a gift of hope and new life in the name of your friends, family and loved ones!

 

                  

Mission & Community Relations  

Mission in the local community through Neighborhood Service Center, Lighthouse Youth Center, Oxford Senior Center.

Mission beyond our area through Good News for India and Onesimus Prison Ministry.

Christmas Food Box Program teams with Neighborhood Services and the deacons to organize and distribute around 150 Christmas Dinners to local needy families!!
